Fuel Duel - The Making
The film was conceptualized, storyboarded and animated in 6-months. The 4-member team toiled for 8 hours every day and overcame many production challenges such as morphing complications, “character-on-model” continuity and story conclusion dilemmas to complete the film.
Interestingly, the colour scheme for the characters was inspired by a little greeting card shaded with soft tones of red, yellow and blue. The film was initially planned for 90-seconds, but ultimately stretched up to 150 seconds. Every member of the team animated one episode each (7 scenes) of the film which ran into 28 scenes despite editing. |
